Diameter and Noise Control

Diameter sets the spine angle, and a wheel under about 100 cm forces most adult cats into a curled posture, so the range starts at 110 cm and scales with breed size. The hub carries the whole experience: sealed double bearings, a machined axle and a tolerance-fitted drum keep the run below normal room volume, while a weighted base or steel bracket removes the walk-and-tip problem that ruins reviews.

Running Surface and Structure

Tracks are one-piece moulded sections or laminated board wrapped in carpet, cork or woven felt, with the join sanded flush so claws cannot catch. Wall thickness and rib spacing decide whether the drum stays round after months of full-speed sprinting, so we tune ribbing against the target weight rating instead of adding material everywhere.

Materials and Safety
